Review and Swatches // Maybelline Colour Show Nail Varnish in "vintage leather"

First Nail Polish review!  I will admit I'm not a huge nail person. But I picked this up in at the beginning if this year, which is a while back but now spring is coming this red/orange colour is perfect!

•Product: Maybelline Colour Show •Price £2.99

The finish of this varnish is matte and as it states in the title is designed to mimic the look of leather. This is quite an original concept and I personally love it, though some people might not be a fan!
The color is red with orangey undertones, as I said before this bright colour just beckons spring.
The durability of this product is its main down fall it chips so  easily.  I put it on this morning and by the end of the day it was basically completely gone, (I'll insert a picture later when I get on a computer) I'm not sure if this is a fault of mine or maybelline but its definitely an issue. Though the product isn't marketed as long lasting I feel less than 24hrs is a bit ridiculous?

Overall the original colour and finish of this product are what makes me like it and even consider repurchasing it. But because of the extremely short durability I wouldn't recommend this if you want a long lasting nail varnish that will take you through day and night, it seems more for "show" than anything.

If you have any tips of how I can make this product last longer leave your ideas in the comments below, because I do really love the colour of this product and would like to find a way of getting more out of it!
